Immersive concert “Stop the Clock”

Sat., Oct 21, 3:00 pm, Rouge Valley Mennonite Church:  Becky Reesor, pianist, composer, and piano teacher will perform an immersive concert “Stop the Clock”, which brings the audience on a walk through nature in the Riviera Maya, Mexico – her home during the pandemic.  By way of storytelling, music, photo, and video she creates a shared space for us to feel nature’s energy, and to connect with the ways in which it speaks to our lives. Becky’s improvisational and compositional styles are reflective of the musical worlds which have formed her, from Bach, Debussy and Eric Whitacre to folk, jazz, and electronic music.  All welcome, suggested donation of $20 each.  Refreshments will be served.  Please contact Louise Pogue for further details at lpogue@sympatico.ca .
