Prayers of the People

Risen Lord, your ways are not our ways and your thoughts are not our thoughts. You are generous, compassionate, full of grace, open to all, the giver of all abundance and the source of love and mercy. We open our hearts to you this morning, knowing that you hear us when we pray, whether we shout it from the rooftops or murmur it in our hearts.

We open our hearts to you this morning sharing with you and with each other:

Our pain at the situations in Ukraine, Myanmar, Eritrea and everywhere where violence and war bring starvation and fear.

We share our joy at being able to gather in person and see each other face to face.

Risen Lord, we give thanks that you hear our hearts and our words and in your name we pray.
